For the LORD’ portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.
For thus said the LORD of hosts; After the glory has he sent me to the nations which spoiled you: for he that touches you touches the apple of his eye.
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brothers is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
1 And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.2And the LORD said to Satan, The LORD rebuke you, O Satan; even the LORD that has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?3Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel
To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believes in Jesus.
3Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.4And he answered and spoke to those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And to him he said, Behold, I have caused your iniquity to pass from you, and I will clothe you with change of raiment.5And I said, Let them set a fair turban on his head. So they set a fair turban on his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by.6And the angel of the LORD protested to Joshua, saying,7Thus said the LORD of hosts; If you will walk in my ways, and if you will keep my charge, then you shall also judge my house, and shall also keep my courts, and I will give you places to walk among these that stand by.
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.
21Moreover you shall provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:22And let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, that every great matter they shall bring to you, but every small matter they shall judge: so shall it be easier for yourself, and they shall bear the burden with you.23If you shall do this thing, and God command you so, then you shall be able to endure, and all this people shall also go to their place in peace.24So Moses listened to the voice of his father in law, and did all that he had said.25And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens
12For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.13For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.14For the body is not one member, but many.15If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?16And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?17If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?18But now has God set the members every one of them in the body, as it has pleased him.19And if they were all one member, where were the body?20But now are they many members, yet but one body.21And the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of you: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.22No, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:23And those members of the body, which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow more abundant honor; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.24For our comely parts have no need: but God has tempered the body together, having given more abundant honor to that part which lacked.25That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
1 Cor. 12:12-25
Take my yoke on you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest to your souls.
Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots
42And he said to Jesus, Lord, remember me when you come into your kingdom.43And Jesus said to him, Truly I say to you, To day shall you be with me in paradise
0And, behold, there was a man named Joseph, a counselor; and he was a good man, and a just:51(The same had not consented to the counsel and deed of them;) he was of Arimathaea, a city of the Jews: who also himself waited for the kingdom of God.52This man went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus.53And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulcher that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid.
